Episode 1 - Understanding Speech Impediments w/ David Harris

His approach was influenced by experts like Professor Ronald Webster, Hollins Communications Research Institute, and Professor Kroll of the institute in Toronto. The Dr Fluency tablet was developed by David Harris and other leading experts in the dysfluency field. The tablet, together with his expert guidance was instrumental in helping me to focus on breathing, vocalization, and speech mechanics. These methods helped me speak fluently but more importantly, the institute has helped thousands of individuals overcome stuttering, gaining him international recognition for the Dr Fluency's success. Harris regularly participates in public discussions about fluency disorders and the importance of early intervention. He’s helped countless patients speak confidently—including myself.

My name is David, and I’m a high school student in New York. Growing up, I faced a speech impediment known as blockage. Through years of practice and treatment, I have been able to overcome my speech challenges. Now, I want to share my journey and inspire others with speech impediments to believe they can achieve the same progress.  In this podcast, we will explore the topic of speech impediments and disorders and hear inspiring success stories from others who’ve navigated similar paths. We will offer hope, tools, and real-world experiences for those on their own journey. I’m excited to welcome you to this project!
