On today's podcast, Reed and Collin dissect their own experiences during their high school careers, specifically highlighting the sports they were involved in. It feels like the majority of people in high school at least attempted a sport and either found it as a success or a major failure. For us, it was a little bit of both. In Collin's career, he found his life-long love for soccer to be cut short because of high school coaches but continued his kicking success with the football team. As for Reed, he was denied from the basketball team his freshman year, so he went for volleyball and found immediate success but was also cut short because of injuries. As great as sports may be in high school, there are always bumps and bruises along the road that sometimes can take a toll on our passion for the game.
