If you clicked on this, you already know why. 🩵 Five years ago, I graduated with a degree in Forensic Science and knew almost immediately that it wasn't the path for me. So I moved back home, and spent the next 2-3 years rediscovering myself. My passions. What actually made me feel alive. It was messy. It was uncomfortable. And nobody really talks about that part too much. The Twenties Detox started as a simple blog post during that season, and slowly became something so much more. This video is my attempt to make you feel a little less alone. To be the big sister who sits across from you and says: you are not behind. You are not failing. Everything IS and WILL be okay. 5 Ways to Be Soft *AND* Ambitious Without Burning Out

Being soft and being ambitious are not opposites. But most of us in our twenties were never shown how to hold both at the same time, and this episode is the conversation I wish someone had started for me sooner. In this episode, I am breaking down 5 real ways to stop treating hustle and rest like they are at war with each other. We are going into why living through the extremes might actually be part of your process, how your sleep and circadian rhythm are quietly deciding how much energy you even have to give, why the seasons can do some of the heavy lifting for you if you let them, and why bringing play back into your life might honestly be the most ambitious thing you do all year. This is not a formula. This is the version of balance that actually fits your life. This one is for you if you are in your twenties, refuse to give up on your ambitions, and are completely done arriving at the finish line running on empty. In this video: * 00:00 Introduction * 02:02 My hustle culture years * 02:49 (1) You need to experience the extremes before finding your balance * 08:23 (2) Balance looks different for everybody * 11:06 (3) Proper sleep is the foundation to balance * 18:14 (4) Using the energy of the seasons (nature) * 22:29 (5) The power of play * 27:33 Outro Resources mentioned: Gary's Playful Tactics in the Workplace: https://www.instagram.com/garyware [https://www.instagram.com/garyware] The Meso, Micro, and Macro Breaks Framework: https://www.breakthroughplay.com/the-three-types-of-rest/ [https://www.breakthroughplay.com/the-three-types-of-rest/] Let's connect: Follow me on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thetwentiesdetox/ [https://www.instagram.com/thetwentiesdetox/] More for you: Join The Twenties Detox Newsletter for weekly advice, blog updates, and an exclusive action of the week: https://www.thetwentiesdetox.com/newsletter [https://www.thetwentiesdetox.com/newsletter] Grab the Seasonal Workbook, a 40+ page roadmap to help you grow alongside the seasons without burning yourself out in the process: https://www.thetwentiesdetox.com/align-with-the-seasons-guide [https://www.thetwentiesdetox.com/align-with-the-seasons-guide] Disclaimer: This podcast is for educational and entertainment purposes only and is not a substitute for professional advice. #softlife #ambition #burnoutrecovery #hustleculture #balanceinyour20s #twentiesdetox #womeninyour20s #softandambitious #personaldevelopment #selfcare #seasonalliving #mindset

I spent my 20s believing these 5 things. I was dead wrong.

Unlearning in your 20s might be the most important work you've never been given credit for. If you've been grinding on empty, chasing a version of success someone else designed, or quietly wondering why nothing feels like enough, this episode is going to breathe something back into you. In this episode, I'm walking you through 5 powerful unlearning lessons I wish I'd had earlier in my twenties. I'm talking about why rest is your birthright and not something you have to earn, how to stop treating failure like a sign you're doing it wrong, and what it actually means to stay curious when the world keeps pressuring you toward certainty. This conversation sits right at the intersection of self-growth in your 20s, hustle culture recovery, and learning to live a more authentic, fulfilled life without the guilt. This one is for the woman who's starting to question everything she was handed and is ready to build something that actually feels like hers. In this video: 00:00 The people who feel the most *free* 01:10 Introduction 01:50 The unlearning cycle 02:57: (1) Embodying rest as a birthright. 08:18: (2) Why you actually want to fail 11:16 (3) Degree vs. curiosity. 5 Things I'll Never Buy In My 20s To Attract More Abundance (My Anti-Haul)

Hi everyone!! This week we got a bit more... controversial. This week I’m talking about 5 things I would never buy in my twenties to support healthier cashflow, and attract more abundance.   Spending/receiving money is very spiritual to me. As a result, I try to spend it carefully, and use it to support my morals and values. A lot of these *things* I would never buy, either give off low spiritual energy to me, or are over-priced for luxury > actual value.  disclaimer: this is not to replace financial advice. I recommend listening to this video from start to finish and write down was resonates (what feels like truth to you) what doesn’t, and who to talk to later about it. Okay…let’s dive in!
