As a long-standing member of black ice for 15 years, MK earned national titles, international and world medals and a lifetime's worth of criss-crossing the world as a competitor and demonstrator of synchro skating. Skating Synchro is one thing, but coaching synchro requires a combination of every kind of life skill. Former Canadian national junior ice dance champion Josh Babb has been involved in synchronized skating at the highest level. Josh Babb is the Director of Synchronized Skating for Skyliners synchronized skating teams. He is the head coach for the senior, junior, and intermediate teams. Josh joined the Skyliners in 2003, and has coached the junior team to six national medals, and the senior team to three national medals. In this fun, personal and informative podcast, Pj and Josh talk about old times and what’s on the horizon for this fast-growing sport. Richard Seljiger – A Synchronized Skating Photographer

I turned to Richard Seijger who, along with wife Patricia, is responsible for the fabulous Synchrophoto.eu website and Synchronice magazine publication. The Wright Source - Lisa Miadovnik

Lisa Miadovnik and One Team Movement – A Conversation about Uniting Synchro Skating & Skaters @skatingpj (Pj Kwong) talks to OneTeamMVMT (www.oneteammvmt.com) founder Lisa Miadovnik about today's synchro skating landscape and the possibilities of the sport gaining entry into the Olympic Games. Standing on the ice as I did as a coach for 25 + years, I would look at all of the young faces and wonder to myself where they would end up as adults. Lisa Miadovnik was one of those young faces. As the leader and founder of OneTeamMVMT, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and uniting Synchronized skating teams and skaters throughout the skating world, Lisa Miadovnik has turned her one-time hobby into a way of life. Impressive. Synchronized skating is the newest and fastest-growing of the skating disciplines and many feel it is just a matter of time before synchronized skating is made part of the Olympic program. I wanted to talk to Lisa because of her passion and dedication to making this movement all about the skaters. This interview was recorded at the ISU World Junior Synchronized Skating Championships in Mississauga, Canada in March of 2017.
