i will never shut up about gay rights! just a few days ago, the law legalizing gay marriage in greece was voted in parliament and is now in effect. i'm beyond happy and i wanted to post an episode where i talk about my experience as a gay person in greece versus sweden, the struggles i'm facing with internalized homophobia today, and my hopes for the future of the LGBTQ+ community. i hope this resonates with you as a queer person or provides a new perspective of minority struggles to you as a straight person. either way, let me know your opinion of the episode on the little q&a box down below! discussion episodes are coming soon, btw!! /chris

is the "sephora kids epidemic" a bit too much?

the latest in tiktok hatred: pre-teens shopping at sephora. while there are some concerns and even more valid points raised about the factors influencing young girls to buy anti-aging serums at 11 years old, maybe we're hating on kids for no reason. gen z seems to be hating on gen alpha for all the wrong reasons that millennials were shaming gen z — "those damn phones." is there ever going to be a way out of this cycle of generational hatred? let me know your thoughts on the topic on the q&a box below. can't wait to read them! /chris :)

finally in sweden! - how my life changed

i know i left for a bit (living up the podcast's name) but i'm back! i wanted to figure out my entire life restructure as i settled in a completely different country and i'm really glad to say i achieved that at last :) this episode focuses on how the entire experience of moving abroad in sweden shaped me emotionally and mentally, as well as the opportunities i got here and how i'm basically getting closer to my dream life than i've ever been. i'm also happy to announce that i'll be doing interviews on future episodes to make the entire podcast experience as interesting and entertaining as possible! can't wait for what's to come :) huge shoutout to a guy on fb marketplace for selling his blue yeti mic for extremely cheap, cuz this is why sound quality has skyrocketed <33 /chris

"lack of creativity" doesn't exist

a notion that i often need to remind myself is just a myth is that only a select few people in society can be considered truly creative. this exact concept has made me doubt my creativity, my art, and every single one of my abilities, especially in times when i felt uninspired, unmotivated, or simply "creatively blocked." through this episode, i try to analyze my belief that everyone can be creative and how ideas of "writer's block" don't have to exist in our lives — as long as we care to dismantle them. hopefully this episode helps you in one way or another. the anxiety of leaving

leaving something in the past and moving onto better things can invoke a bittersweet feeling. whether leaving to study abroad, cutting communication with a loved one, or anything in between, it sucks to leave and lose. the anxiety (or sadness) of leaving can derive from so many circumstances in life —especially when coming of age— and it's something that i've been thinking about a lot since graduating. often, i consider how much loss i will suffer to achieve my goals and it can be emotionally draining. but that's life! if u enjoyed it, share this episode w/ your friends and leave me a review — chris
