The Me Nobody Sees

I met Carla in NY after watching Facing the Wind: Lewy Body Dementia Documentary in which she participated and inspired me to create this podcast. We also meet Sharon, Carla's best friend who gives us an overlooked perspective as the friend indirectly and yet directly impacted by watching people she loves struggle. This first episode is personal. In 2022 my mother passed away from Lewy Body Dementia. I was her caregiver. My daughters Kiara, Lily and I chose the writing prompt "I Understand but it Still Hurts" and agreed to sit for 20 minutes and write.
