Language is a tool when misused can be deadly to the wielder. Remember, 'Iruki alaichu oru umma tharu' had even the great Superstar in a soup. And the business world isn't spared either, we have all heard about the Volkswagen Jetta- a very popular sedan in India. In Italian, the word “Jetta” has a similar sound with the word “ietta” which means “streak of bad luck”. Oops! Today we talk about our trails and tribulations with language. From somvar to being vela, do give it a listen and let us know how you have been tripped up by language.
