Detectives are seeking information after armed, masked suspects reportedly forced their way into a Bovoni residence, assaulted the homeowner, and stole cash and jewelry before fleeing. On today’s WTJX Radio NewsFeed: A St. John man is facing charges including vehicular homicide and child neglect after investigators concluded his six-year-old daughter was not properly restrained when a water truck overturned and slid down an embankment, resulting in her death earlier this year. A federal appeals court has revived charges against Richardson Dangleben Jr. in the 2023 killing of VIPD Detective Delberth Phipps Jr. while leaving in place a lower court ruling that prevents prosecutors from seeking the death penalty. Senate Vice President Kenneth Gittens is demanding accountability after learning auditors conducting WAPA's long-awaited forensic audit allegedly encountered delays, missing records, and resistance while seeking information.
