Apologies for audio issues.    Round 13 of the AFL had six close finishes decided by 8 points or less, Fremantle thrashed a disappointing North Melbourne and Brisbane proved they are not done yet by beating up Gold Coast who continue to be underwhelming.   Brendan Sheehan passionate Richmond fan and great friend of mine joins on our view from the outer podcast and discusses all the big footy issues from the round and a regular guest on the show for the rest of the season will be the secret agent, who will update us on the trade news and this week he talks about where Zak Butters might end up with four clubs in the running and who might coach Carlton and is James Hird a certainty at Essendon.   It's all thanks to D'Asporto Restaurants at Williamstown, Yarraville, Essendon, near Windy Hill Footy Ground, The Williamstown Kiosk on Williamstown beach and the Bottega Bar and D'Asporto Gelato both at Yarraville.

Round 12 Carlton on the rise; Freo Premiership favourites

Here"s the intro for the latest podcast.   Round 12 of the AFL is done and dusted, with the first week of the wretched byes in place now for 5 rounds.   Some magnificent football was played with Freo firming as Premiership favourites and Brisbane the team they conquered, losing three games in a row and at the moment even in danger of missing the top ten.   Carlton is on the rise as they mount a challenge, and the natives are getting excited. The Pies, despite having many soldiers, pushed the Bulldogs all the way, who won yet another close one.   It's all unpacked on the latest edition of the View from the Outer podcast as part of Dashing Dan's sporting adventures, thanks to D'Asporto Family restaurants based in Williamstown, Yarraville and Essendon.   My Guest is Phil Shaw, a great friend of mine and a mad keen Collingwood supporter, who has a great read of the game...

Carlton in Crisis: Voss Resigns, Fans Demand Board Overhaul

Unless you have been living under a rock or don't like football, Michael Voss and Carlton parted ways during the week, with the news officially broken on Tuesday morning, even though Voss and the board of Directors and executives had come to a decision before the Brisbane game privately that that match would be the former Brisbane champion player's last as coach.   Vince Loccisano a former president of the prominent Blues Coterie Group, the Carltonians, has been omnipresent in the Media over the past 36 hours speaking eloquently about this latest drama at this once powerful club.   He joined me on the latest Dashing Dan Sporting Adventures Podcast for D'asporto the Best Italian food in Melbourne with restaurants and outlets in Essendon, Williamstown, Yarraville, the Kiosk on Williamstown beach, D'asporto Gelato and D'asporto Bottega in Yarraville, which is a bar.   Vince was very strong against the Current board and the instability surrounding his football club this century.   Enjoy on Spotify and all social media platforms.
