E7: Suffering and Gratitude

In this episode, Whitney and Kayla open up about the reality of suffering—how it can break us down, but also how God uses it to draw us closer to Him. The world may not understand it, but Scripture tells us that trials build endurance, character, and hope (Romans 5:3–5, James 1:2–3). In this episode, not only does Whitney sing alto—maybe even tenor—but we’re diving into the conversation about motherhood and how we were NEVER meant to do it alone. Not without friends, and definitely not without GOD! Some of what we discuss may be hard to hear for those carrying different crosses in motherhood, and we want to remind you that every situation is unique. We can all pray for one another, and Romans 5:3-5 is a powerful reminder of why we endure suffering in different ways. Quick side note: when we talk about having something for yourself outside of motherhood, we’re not just talking about a job or making money. It could be working out, reading, crocheting, spending time with animals—whatever fills your cup. It looks different for everyone!
