Dear what it means to watch and pray,
Watch and pray. Not as pressure, not as performance, but as an invitation to stay aware. In a world that moves quickly and keeps the heart distracted, it becomes easy to be present in body but absent in spirit.
Jesus spoke these words to people who loved Him, yet still fell asleep. Not because they did not care, but because they were tired. And maybe that feels familiar. We are not always resisting. Sometimes we are simply drifting.
To watch is to notice. To pay attention to what is shaping you, what is pulling your heart, what is quietly forming your life. To pray is to stay connected, even in simple words, even in silence.
Readiness is not about striving harder. It is about staying awake. Staying present. Staying connected.
If you have been living on autopilot, this is your gentle invitation to return. Not with fear, but with awareness.
Until He Comes, may we live attentive in the ordinary, aware in the moment, and close in spirit.
