Les mer Hurtwood: Beyond The Hill

Over 50 years ago, with the spark of an idea, Richard Jackson boldly started a school with just a handful of students. Today Hurtwood House is home to 360 students and its alumni include Hollywood Royalty, award winning filmmakers, world famous musicians and top business entrepreneurs. Each week in ‘Hurtwood: Beyond the Hill’ ex-student and presenter James Gaffney interviews one of the many thousands who have been through Hurtwood’s doors, reminiscing about the good times at the school and lifting the lid on their journeys and the secrets of their success. episode S2.8 Lucy Mason-Lockett: Theatre Stage Manager cover

S2.8 Lucy Mason-Lockett: Theatre Stage Manager

Having interviewed many Hurtwood West End stars, James finds out what it is like to have a career behind the scenes in stage management. In this episode, he discusses technical theatre with Lucy Mason-Lockett, currently Deputy Stage Manager at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, working on Disney's new musical extravaganza 'Hercules'. James and Lucy discuss RADA and the productions she has worked on including '9 to 5: The Musical' at the Savoy Theatre, 'Pretty Woman' on Tour and the Secret Cinema production of 'Guardians of the Galaxy'. It's a small world for Hurtwood alumni as she has worked alongside many other ex-Hurtwood students such as Katie Buchholz (see Episode 2 Series 1) star of 'Witness for the Prosecution' and now Luke Brady (see Episode 5 Series 1) who is playing the lead role of 'Hercules'. ---------------------------------------- Hosted on Acast. Liker at det er både Podcaster (godt utvalg) og lydbøker i samme app, pluss at man kan holde Podcaster og lydbøker atskilt i biblioteket.
Bra app. Oversiktlig og ryddig. MYE bra innhold⭐️⭐️⭐️
