Mental Health Special - Do men have safe spaces to be vulnerable

In this special episode, we get to interrogate and speak to men and some  women about how safe is it for men in modern society to be vulnerable  and open up about their struggle with mental wellness and go for  therapy. Why is it "frowned upon" for men (black men in particular) to  come out and say I am struggling with certain issues in my life? Why are  we not making it okay for people to speak out. What should we do as men to start opening up and creating safer spaces  with our own circle of friendships and brotherhood? Why do we find it  hard to speak up, why are we only comfortable to share our successes and  achievements, yet we fail at being vulnerable with our peers This episode is just the chip of the iceberg, a conversation starter  which I hope will ignite change and action amongst men

S2E5 - Brian Temba - Dream it, Believe it, Achieve It

Brian Temba is one of South Africa's most celebrated musicians. In this episode of #ConversationWithNnusi  we get a chance to chat to him about his illustrious career that spans  over two decade - from singing in a church in Atteridgeville to the  world, recording his two albums overseas and sharing the stage with some  of global renowned artists.   We also get to speak about his time in the US and UK playing Simba in  the play Lion King. He is the first South African to play the role of  Simba abroad and did this for five years.   Brian came back to South Africa to settle and continued to do music,  acting and winning awards along the way

In today’s episode of #ConversationWithNnusi we get to sit with one of  the most influential, respected and admired gent in the creative  industry Mzo Ntuli. Mzo hails from KwaZulu Natal (KZN) and has been  living in Johannesburg for over a decade now.   We get to chat to him about his passion and love for the arts, his  upbringing, the transition from moving from KZN to the City of Gold, how  he got into fashion, his attention to detail and get to unpack his  entrepreneurial journey.   Over the years, Mzo has worked for various multinational creative  agencies and started a few companies such as Young Creative Minds, The  Grooming Social and TGS Selection just to name a few. It seems like he  has no intentions of stopping anytime soon as he seeks to diversify and  grow his portfolio

A true and great servant of sports, she has dedicated  her life to fulfilling that and is very intentional on how this will be  done.   I get to sit with her and we unpack her life, why and how she got  involved in sports and how she intends to continue breaking boundaries,  rewrite history, make a difference and cement her place in the industry
