Season 6 Episode 11

Welcome back! We are like that pesky old yard animal that you finally though that you had gotten rid of, but then it's back to knock over the compost once again.  Also kind of like our Ottawa Senators, whom everyone had ridden off over a month ago, including our very own DDT.  DDT will no doubt be apologizing for this and eating his words.  Speaking of eating, wait until you hear about Duff's recipe of the week, my mouth is watering.  Here's to another week of very slowly transitioning weather, and very slow banter that no doubt is just another injurious waste of time! Ottawa’s Snow Obsession: The city is trucking snow away like it’s evidence in a crime scene. Just let it melt, guys...and put the MILLIONS to something else. Recipe of the Week: We’re going Asian-inspired! Hope you like soy sauce and Duff’s questionable substitution skills. Plus, the Paul Smith Lady Bobcats are headed to the AAU Nationals in Jacksonville! They’ll have to win without their biggest fan, DDT, who clearly doesn’t love them enough to buy a plane ticket...the cheap bastard. We wrap it all up with a look at the World Baseball Classic. Welcome back to Cop Car Coffee, the podcast that’s officially the leading cause of productivity-related injuries. It’s Season 6, Episode 9, and frankly, if you’re still listening after six years, that’s more on you than us. Today we chat about February 13th, the day the universe inexplicably gifted us both DDT and Commander Duff...but in different years. We’ll be celebrating their birthdays, though 'celebrating' is a strong word for guys complaining about sports, politics and the weather. We’re also tackling the national embarrassment of Brazil having more Winter Gold than Canada, the adrenaline rush of cancelling travel plans, and a look back at college life—a time when we had hair and dreams, apologies if we didn't get to that. Duff has a movie pick, and most importantly, DDT is offering an apology. We have to give it to him: DDT has turned apologizing into a high art form. He does it with such frequency and flair that you almost forget he’s just going to do the exact same thing again tomorrow. It’s truly a gift.
