Restaurants are starting to roll out what they’re calling “Ozempic menus” — smaller steaks, lighter portions, and even mini cocktails designed for customers using appetite-suppressing medications. On the surface, it sounds like another trend. But maybe it’s pointing to something much bigger. For decades, our portions have grown while our ability to recognize “enough” has gotten harder to find. What if the real story isn’t about a medication at all? What if it’s about rediscovering moderation in a culture that constantly encourages more? The world may call it an Ozempic meal, but could it simply be a return to a wisdom we’ve been ignoring for years?
