Trigger Warning : mention of sexual assault, rape, depression. As women, we often find ourselves uncomfortable voicing our thoughts and expressing our authentic self in society. This happens in professional and personal settings alike. In this episode we talk about the specific barriers, social conditioning and cultural norms that have largely impacted our candor. But also why it's important that we do speak up in spite of these challenges.

In this episode let's slow down a little, talk about the hustle that is life. Have you ever felt pressured to achieve something and then go on the "next thing" like you are checking off boxes? Have you ever taken a step back to define what being "settled" means to you? Better yet, do you even want to be "settled"? We talk about the often externally induced pressure to be moving forward and how it manifests in your 20s & 30s, and how we think it's important to find your own definition of success and most importantly - celebrate the now.

Media plays a big role in our understanding of cultures that we don't have access to. In this episode we talk all about checking our own assumptions when moving to a new country, while navigating the ones people might have about us. Including some funny ones! We also discuss creating an inclusive and conscious environment at schools and the workplace by normalizing being curious and asking questions when you meet new people.
