Elan's speech at Model Montessori United Nations, New York

ELan attended Model Montessori United Nations 2022 @ New York as a Delegate for Finland on March  17, 2022. Transcript:  Distinguished Bureau and fellow delegates.  It's an honor to represent Finland in this model UN nations conference. Finland is deeply concerned about the many physical and mental problems plaguing the youth of the world today and is committed to working with member states to eliminate these obstacles. Poor education and cyber threats are two of those problems.  Finland recommends that countries improve education by providing proper teacher training and appropriate pay. This will help recruit the most qualified educators to work in schools. Finland calls upon nations to protect youth from cyber threats by participating in programs like the global forum on Al for Children, which was the first of its kind and was hosted by UNICEF and the Government of Finland.   This event created an opportunity for youth to learn how to avoid cyber threats. Children are the heirs of the future and must be protected and prepared to take over one day  -Thank you, Elan
