In today’s She Rises Nourished devotional meditation, we slow down and return to the truth that changes everything: You are not the source…and you were never meant to be. Through somatic breathwork, gentle body awareness, scripture, and affirmations, this meditation will guide you to release control, calm your nervous system, and reconnect to God as your true source of peace, strength, and life. If you’ve been feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck trying to control everything around you…this is your invitation to rest, reset, and abide. There is a better way. And it begins here. Scripture: John 15:5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” Galatians 5:22–23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.” Affirmations (Speak, breathe, and receive): I am connected to the source. God is sustaining me. I do not have to strive. I release what I cannot control. I focus on what is mine to steward. Peace is flowing into me. I am safe to rest. I trust God’s timing. I let go of urgency. I am filled with love. I am anchored in peace. I am not the source. I am held and supported. God is in control, and I can rest in that.
