The 5th Power Episode 3 Productivity Without Presence- Productive, Not Present: When Achievement Replaces Awareness and Where is the Work life Balance?

The 5th Voice – International Women’s Day Special Welcome to this special three-part series for International Women’s Day. We are The 5th Voice — five women working in senior leadership roles across the global security profession, coming together to explore something that rarely gets the space it deserves in our industry: women’s health. Not as a side conversation. Not as a wellbeing add-on. But as a leadership issue. Across these three episodes, we’ll be discussing: * Women’s mental health — anxiety, depression, masking, and the pressure to perform in environments where failure is rarely seen as an option. * Women’s physical health — hormones, menopause, ageing, and what it means to advocate for yourself while still leading at a high level. * And productivity without presence — when achievement replaces awareness, when long hours and constant output disconnect us from ourselves. This series isn’t about complaint. It isn’t about blame. And it certainly isn’t about lowering standards. It’s about honesty. Because in security, we are trained to run toward risk. But very few of us are trained to recognise the risk accumulating inside us. We talk openly about operational resilience. We measure enterprise risk. We analyse human factors. Yet we rarely talk about the cost of sustained pressure on the women carrying responsibility — at work, at home, and often everywhere in between. We come from different cultures, different disciplines, and different stages of life. But we share a common experience: leadership does not remove our humanity. It intensifies it. So over the next three episodes, we’ll be having real conversations — grounded in lived experience, not theory. We won’t be offering medical advice. We won’t be pretending to have universal answers. But we will be sharing stories, reflections, and practical insights that we wish had been spoken about more openly earlier in our careers. If you are a woman navigating leadership — we hope you feel seen. If you are a leader working with women — we hope you listen closely. And if you work in security — we hope this reminds you that the strongest systems are built by humans who are supported, not stretched beyond recognition. This is The 5th Voice. And this is women’s health — through the lens of leadership.

Liker at det er både Podcaster (godt utvalg) og lydbøker i samme app, pluss at man kan holde Podcaster og lydbøker atskilt i biblioteket.
Bra app. Oversiktlig og ryddig. MYE bra innhold⭐️⭐️⭐️
