Episode 21: Recognizing the Quinnipiac People at Quinnipiac University

In Episode 7, the Anthrophiles discussed the Quinnipiac People—our university's namesake—and how we as a community can properly appreciate, rather than appropriate, their culture. In this episode, the Anthrophiles—with the help of Quinnipiac students, Quinnipiac faculty, and local researchers—return to the subject, exploring the history of the naming of Quinnipiac University, considering what responsibilities come with carrying the name of an Indigenous people, and reviewing the changes underway on campus that aim to establish a stronger connection between the University community and the history of the people who preceded us. Episode 19: How Does Culture Affect the Way Our Bodies Feel?
