God speaks through events in our lives!

Many of the important things in life are not simple. The last category of how God Speaks to us is one of those complicated, nuanced truths that is very important. 1st part, God can, and does, speak to us through our circumstances, or the events in our lives. 2nd part, Not everything that happens to us in our lives is God speaking to us, and if we relate to Him this way, it's going to be hard on us.

Have you ever tried to explain your conscience to someone else? On one hand, it's simple; this intuitive feeling that something is either right or wrong, good or bad, Somehow...... we just know. On the other hand, it's complicated; we can't prove it, it can surprise us, and we often end up wrestling with it. And yet, We hear GOD through our conscience- our inner witness- the internal sense of right and wrong God gives to every human being.

God speaks through Trusted Voices

The competition for our attention has never been so intense. It's important to lean into the trusted voices in our lives who remind us of what Jesus has said. God Speaks through trusted voices, so we prioritize people who point us to God's word and minimize voices who don't.

Jesus sends us the Holy Spirit, The Advocate, The Helper to be with us daily! The Purpose of God's word is to show us who God is, to reveal his character and nature, to invite us into a relationship with HIM, and then to show us how to live.
