Supplying Good pt. 1 | Jake Vayda

This week in our Created for This series, we explored the purpose of Supplying Good through Exodus 18. We looked at Moses trying to carry everything himself and discovered a powerful truth: when only a few people use their gifts, many people go without. But when everyone contributes what God has given them, no one lacks. We were reminded that serving isn't just about filling a need—it's about becoming the person God created us to be. What can feel like an interruption or delay is often God's shortcut to purpose, growth, and deeper connection. The invitation is simple: don't let your gifts stay buried. Whether it's your time, talent, encouragement, leadership, generosity, or compassion, God has given you something that can make a difference in the lives of others.

Social Belonging | Jake Vayda

This week in our Created for This series, we explored the purpose of Social Belonging through the story of Moses, Aaron, and Hur in Exodus 17. We asked a challenging question: what is the “I’ve got this” mentality actually costing you? We saw that isolation doesn’t make us stronger—it makes us more vulnerable. God never intended for us to carry life alone. Instead, He designed us to be known, supported, encouraged, and strengthened through community. Through Moses’ exhaustion in battle, we were reminded that even the strongest people need others to hold up their arms. What we can’t carry alone, community carries with us. The invitation is simple: stop fighting your battles alone. Take a step toward community, let yourself be known, and discover the strength that comes from belonging.

Self Formation | Jake Vayda

This week, we continued our Created for This series by looking at Exodus 16 and the story of God providing manna in the wilderness. We talked about how some habits that once helped us survive can eventually begin to trap us—and asked the question: what if your coping strategy has become your cage? We explored how God cared for the whole person—mind, body, and feelings—and how His daily provision was teaching the Israelites to trust Him one day at a time. Instead of living through control, comfort, or self-sufficiency, God invites us into daily dependence and transformation. The reminder this week was simple but powerful: you don’t have to carry everything on your own. God still provides daily bread for weary minds, overwhelmed emotions, and exhausted souls.

Soul Connection | Jake Vayda

This week, we kicked off our new series Created for This by asking an important question: what do you do after freedom? Looking at Exodus 15, we saw that God doesn’t just free us from something—He frees us for something. We explored the first purpose God created us for: Soul Connection. You are a soul created by the Creator, designed to live connected to Him. We were reminded that freedom alone doesn’t satisfy the soul—real healing and rest come through time with God. The invitation is simple: stop wandering and reconnect your soul to the One who created it. Because what your soul is searching for might not be found in more freedom, but in deeper connection with God.

I Got Questions | Jake Vayda

This week, we kicked off our series The Benefit of Doubt by looking at the story of Thomas in John 20. We were reminded that doubt doesn’t have to be a dead end—it can be a doorway to deeper faith.  We saw that doubt is part of being human, that faith can bend without breaking, and that our questions don’t disqualify us from following Jesus. Instead of pushing people away, Jesus meets us right in the middle of our doubts with compassion and truth.  The invitation is simple: don’t hide your questions—bring them to Jesus. Because when you do, what feels like uncertainty can become the beginning of a stronger, more honest faith.
