This time around, we do a deep dive into the Day of the Dead and consult the spirit guides to discuss a drag-themed Dia de Los Muertos celebration in Lompoc, CA, speaking with Anna Boren and Suzette Lopez, cofounders of Mírame Entertainment, a culturally inclusive entertainment group creating safe spaces in the 805. In observance of National Hispanic Heritage Month, KCSB-FM Presents Alas Para Volar, a limited series celebrating la Cultura through interviews with local musicians, artists, and activists here in Santa Barbara. In episode three, we center art through movement by speaking with local movers and shakers in Latin dance here at UCSB.
