Interview with "Half Of Her": Poetry for Surviving Domestic Violence

"Half Of Her" is what remains of a poet who found a way to speak of the domestic violence that kept her a prisoner in her own home, until the day she freed herself. She now creates poetry that celebrates breaking the cycle of abuse and bringing shelter for those in similar situations. She creates recordings of her work and competes locally as a slam poet in Fort Collins.
