There are no movements that are inherently bad or bad for every person in my opinion. There are many movements or exercises that could be terrible for one person and the best exercise to help someone else reach their goal. Most movements can be beneficial with the right prep and the right intention. What do you think? Do you have any movements or exercises that you think are bad for everyone no matter what? When I was in school, we were taught about how bad the quads were with regards to movement and knee pain. Over the years I have realized that quad strengthening is important for sport performance and knee pain. These are my thoughts on how the concepts in therapy swung towards the glutes and away from the quads and what lead to demonization of the quads. Let me know your thoughts. It has been 4 weeks since my partial tec repair surgery. I am following the protocol given by my surgeon which has involved wearing a brace and no movement of my shoulder for 4 weeks. I could not be happier to finally have the brace off. The next update will most likely be a video with some of my rehab exercise so make sure you follow along.
