We again encounter Saul as his moment arrives to be revealed as the one chosen by God to be Israel's King. Though Saul shrinks back, God's call prevails over his reluctance. Pastor Musyimi uses this passage to emphasise that just as God chased down Saul and grabbed him, He knows how to find and draw us to his purpose. God is calling us to stop hiding from our shame and our insecurities, and to trust Him to carry us through the call he has bestowed upon our lives. We do not have to hide.
