#10 - Getting Enlightened: Cory Gets Coached by Luuk

Around halfway through the God Tour, I became motivated to stabilize my Self-realization, instead of it being an occasional remembrance limited mostly to my meditations. So I started texting with Luuk Moelker—a fellow teammate and facilitator at Massaro University—who has stabilized in the nondual recognition of the “I Am” or “Aware-Being” or “God Consciousness” or whatever you might want to call it. Luuk was enthusiastic, clear, and helpful with his guidance and feedback. This inspired me to reach out more and more—requesting that he “enlighten my perspective.” We decided to turn our exchanges into a 4-part class series in Massaro University called “Getting Enlightened.” This episode is the recording of our first class from September 14. #09 - Thinking Out Loud: Is Consciousness Fundamental?

I take more of a transparent and raw approach with this episode because, well, I don’t know what I think yet! I’ve been at a new “spiritual” learning edge thanks to recent guidance from Bentinho Massaro, particularly at his recent Non-Duality clinic in Amsterdam. At the same time, I’ve been captivated by recent discussions by skeptics, atheists, and scientists on the topic of Consciousness.  Interestingly, these topics seem to be converging around at least one really important question: is consciousness fundamental? In other words: is consciousness the fundamental “stuff” that gave rise to all the matter of the universe? Or did consciousness emerge as a byproduct of the physical matter in the universe? What came first—molecules or awareness?   I don’t land on an answer in this episode, but I let you into my realtime process as I consider this topic from multiple angles.   I invite you (seriously, for real) to comment and “think with me” — elevate my exploration. Learning Intuitively requires a different “muscle” than the typical, structured learning we’re so used to from school and work. Intuitive learning happens when, instead of conceptually understanding the theory and verbiage of some new pursuit… you actually begin to enter its paradigm. #06 - The Truth About Bentinho Massaro

This is a personal essay I, Cory Katuna, wrote and recorded about the cult allegations surrounding Bentinho—someone I’ve worked with and known closely for a decade. What started as cathartic journaling after a brutal cancellation eventually became this article, and I’m grateful to finally be able to share it with all of you. I originally recorded myself reading this article for my own podcast, Perspective, but then we decided to release it on Bentinho’s channel so all of his followers would get a chance to hear the other side of a salacious story. This piece is not a counter-attack. I don’t name names and I share my perspective vulnerably and transparently, inviting readers/listeners into their own critical thinking and discernment. In this article (and episode), I tell the truth as I see it. I talk about cancel culture, victim consciousness, deep spiritual work, the complexities of teacher-student dynamics, the reality of what it’s like to learn from Bentinho and be on our team, and my overall experience with a contentious and controversial topic. Most importantly, I talk about the process of staying true in the fire; remaining in integrity with my True Self amidst confusion, chaos, and a storm of public backlash.
