Gen V has officially started. With all of the first three episodes coming out at once, there was a lot for us for absorbed. What was there to like? EVERYTHING! What could go wrong? It already has! What was there anything to not like? Probably (spoiler) getting cutoff after the first episode . . . or did they?

At the time of this episode's recording, we express our excitement for Gen V's three episode premiere by trying (and probably failing) to predict what could happen in the messy (and occasionally bloody) world that is The Boys in the even more messed up setting that is college. Not to mention, making sense of the cast (Clancy Brown, Jason Ritter) and what roles they may or may not play.

From video games to board games like D&D, and their surprisingly good adaptations (The Last of Us, The Super Mario Bros movie, D&D: Honor Among Thieves, HarmonQuest, etc.), it should go without saying (unless you're doing a podcast), that people are taking games of all kinds more seriously outside of just playing them. We all know about Game Stop vs Wall Street, right? Not to mention the upcoming Five Nights at Freddy's movie, Among Us AND Dead Cells animated series, the Minecraft movie, AND the recent Meta announcements . . . is there anything we won't cover?

33: Seeing More of the Sea

As we've seen in Aquaman, Avatar: The Way of Water, One Piece (both adaptations), Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and more (that we might've missed) there's been a gradual trend of water playing bigger roles than just something to drink or swim in. From featuring hidden cultures and its people to representing something some deep meaning (no pun intended). Now why is that? And will we be seeing more of it after Aquaman: The Lost Kingdom? That remains to be seen as we pick our brains over all of that and more (that we might've missed).
