S2E02 | Amy Sprangers

In her 25th season with the Seattle Seahawks, Amy Sprangers serves as Chief Revenue Officer. In her role, Amy leads revenue generation across sponsorship, ticketing, suites, and local media rights. She leads passionate, high performing, revenue-driven teams that cultivate authentic, innovative, impactful partnerships and measurably grow both the Seahawks' business and that of its partners.  A Bainbridge Island product, Amy's entrepreneurial spirit, confidence, and competitive spark manifested early - establishing a landscaping business at age six to fund her trips to the local convenience store for bubblegum. Amy received a Bachelors Degree in Speech Communication and Rhetoric at the University of Washington, and spent much of her summers and spare time exploring internships and job opportunities that helped her identify her true areas of interest. From seaplanes to the SuperSonics, Seafair to the Seahawks, Amy's "happy accident" of working in the sports industry has been "a privilege and a responsibility" - She's never lost sight of the immense platform that is sports. A mother of four, Amy has also kept her eye on balance, being present, and extending grace. Combine that with her data-driven mindset and competitive spark, her team is disrupting the typical sales dynamic and executing big for the organization, partners, and fans. -- A Seattle Sports Commission Production with support from MetaMora Productions, Inc. episode S1E12 | Doug Baldwin Jr. Part Two artwork

S1E12 | Doug Baldwin Jr. Part Two

This episode is a continuation of our conversation with founder, philanthropist, and Seahawks Legend, Doug Baldwin Jr. From a successful career in the National Football League to the founding of several entrepreneurial endeavors and non-profits, the proud husband and father of young daughters is constantly evolving while being guided by his faith and core tenet of "love." Doug's eight-year career with the Seattle Seahawks included a Super Bowl Championship and multiple Pro Bowl appearances. Playing for two behemoths in football - Jim Harbaugh at Stanford and Pete Carroll at the Seattle Seahawks - Doug solidified his reputation as a dependable receiver and a leader amongst his teammates, and discovered the type of culture he wanted to inspire. An ultra-competitor, his time on the field was not without its challenges. He learned from the mentors and models throughout his life, absorbed tough love and sage advice from his mom, and is turning the chips on his shoulder into wings. Following his retirement from the NFL in 2019, Doug shifted focus to social impact as Chief Executive Officer of Vault89 and Founder of the Family First Community Center. With a passion for creating empathic solutions to complex challenges, Doug is a recipient of the Martin Luther King Jr. Medal of Distinguished Service Award, the youngest ever appointee to the WA State Clemency and Pardons Board, and contributes to sports equity efforts in the Pacific Northwest as co-founder of Champions of Change alongside former teammates Cliff Avril and Michael Bennett. In recognition of his contributions, he received the Paul G. Allen Humanitarian Award at the Seattle Sports Commission's 88th Annual Sports Star of the Year Awards in February 2023. While Doug is the first to say he is still defining his leadership style, his eternal curiosity, humility, empathy, and competitive spirit are bearing fruit in the personal and professional spaces he enters. -- A Seattle Sports Commission Production with support from MetaMora Productions, Inc.
