In these moments we are reminded to remain steady and be encouraged that we will make it through. “…But the one who endures to the end will be saved.” — from Matthew 10:22 “Endures” (ὑπομείνας / hypomeinas) here means to be steady, consistent, and persistent in the face of pressure. We don’t allow ourselves to get swept up in the chaos of the moment. We stay centered regardless of what is happening around us. “Saved” (σωθήσεται / sōthēsetai) here means preserved, made whole, and delivered.
