We all build our lives around something. Proverbs 4 reminds us that lasting wisdom begins by guarding our hearts, because what we love most shapes the choices we make, the habits we form, and the people we become. Only Jesus can give us the new heart that leads to true life and lasting wisdom.

Wisdom is more than being smart. Proverbs 8 invites us to seek the wisdom that helps us navigate life’s hardest decisions, live with humility, and trust Jesus as the true source of life.

Prayer of Understanding (Ephesians 3:14-21)

Paul's prayer in Ephesians 3 shows the difference between knowing God’s love in theory and grasping it deep in the heart. He prays that the Spirit would make the riches of Christ real to us, rooting us in a love wide enough to cover our sin, long enough to hold our story, high enough to lift our eyes, and deep enough to meet us in our shame.

A Prayer for Unity (John 17:20-26)

Jesus’ prayer in John 17 gives us a vision for unity that is deeper than agreement and stronger than division. Through the gospel, God forms a people who belong to one another, bear with one another, and show the world the beauty of His love.
