We had a daughter and named her Zia, which means light. She’s our light that helped us in sooo.many.ways. So aside from sharing my testimony that a whole year can look completely different, I wanted to offer this message for anyone on a fertility journey You are not alone. It’s not your fault. There is nothing wrong with you. You are not being punished. You are loved. You are love. Trust in the magic of healing, Timing, Patience, Faith. Give yourself Grace. This week’s guest is Melanie Shields, she’s a scholar turned cda turned baker and she’s under 30. This episode highlights how no matter what age you are, it’s important to listen to your inner voice when you feel uninspired. This can look like dreading going to work the next day, or having anxiety at work. Melanie shares how you can overcome this with small steps by starting with doing things that you enjoy. But it wasn't always like that, having been through the toughest of times in her life, Lori sought out solitary serene walks to clear her mind and find motivation. This eventually led to her channeling the courage she needed to put herself out there, offering up her artistic talents, and the world is better for it!
