Viele Menschen empfinden das Leben als schwierig, weil sie sich zu sehr mit ihrem Verstand und ihrem Körper identifizieren; wie du weißt, besteht der Verstand im Wesentlichen aus Gedanken über die Vergangenheit. Das ist auch der Grund, warum du dir noch so schwer tust -dein Leid resultiert also noch aus der Identifikation mit deiner Vergangenheit. Doch du kannst deinem Leid jetzt und hier ein Ende setzen, indem du deine gesamte Vergangenheit – von deiner Geburt bis zu diesem Augenblick – als Idee, als Vorstellung anerkennst.
