episode Episode 36 - The Jigsaw Murders cover

Beskrivelse

This case has everything! I mean, hi, happy Thursday…..this case has everything! It is the story of a brutal murderer whose level of butchery was intense and resulted in him being dubbed ‘The Jigsaw Killer’. It’s a rollercoaster of a tale, we travel from India to the Middle East, England and Scotland.  I chose it because it takes place around where my family is from, or part of it does, but really for the leap that was made in forensic science because of it.  What should have been an incredibly difficult case to solve, even with today’s technology, was closed relatively quickly thanks to great police work and great science. A monster was caught before he could do any more butchering and the role that forensics can play in solving a crime was suddenly noticed by law enforcement.  You can listen wherever you get your podcasts or by visiting our website at  http://www.grievousbodilyharmpodcast.com Email us at grievousbodilyharmpodcast@gmail.com Please like, subscribe and share.

episode Episode 40 - Willie Pickton Part II, The Stink Continues cover

Episode 40 - Willie Pickton Part II, The Stink Continues

Our 40th episode is out now and we finish our coverage of Stinky Pinkerton in a special double length episode. Honestly this case is infuriating and we are glad to have it finished. We have been itching for weeks and infuriated by this guy. Willie is suspected to have killed up to 100 women in Vancouver and we have no problem believing that figure. The police have blood on their hands, in my opinion,  as they refused to look for these women until it was far too late.  Listen to this heinous case today and hear all the disgusting details of just how this serial killer was able to get away with his crimes for so long.  You can listen wherever you get your podcasts or by visiting our website at www.grievousbodilyharmpodcast.com Email us at grievousbodilyharmpodcast@gmail.com Please like, subscribe and share.

Episode 38 - Mary Bell, Britain’s Youngest Female Killer

Shocking is the only word we can think of to describe this case. Mary started her killing the day before she turned 11.  She was raised in the worst environment imaginable and was certainly neglected and abused by those who should have protected her.  Two young boys would die and many more were hurt before she was stopped. But more importantly, before she was helped.  In this case we see the whole situation, we know why it happened and we see the rehabilitation. It is possible but you, like us, will wish more was done sooner.  You can listen wherever you get your podcasts or by visiting our website at www.grievousbodilyharmpodcast.com Email us at grievousbodilyharmpodcast@gmail.com   Please like, subscribe and share.

episode Episode 37 - Ella Douglas cover

Episode 37 - Ella Douglas

Today’s case is one from my dad’s home town of Dumfries in Scotland. A man, on a whim, with no red flags or criminal history, decided to murder a woman he claimed to love after she simply asked him if he wanted a cup of tea. After the killing, he sat with the body for 8 hours before hiding it in a grotesque and unimaginable way.    Her family and friends were searching for her but it would take 10 months for the truth to come out. Unfortunately the punishment didn’t match the crime and this man practically got away with a cold blooded killing.    You can listen wherever you get your podcasts or by visiting our website at www.grievousbodilyharmpodcast.com Email us at grievousbodilyharmpodcast@gmail.com   Please like, subscribe and share.
