What does it mean to actually follow Jesus even when the crowd is thinning out? We are studying Luke 9 & 10 to discover the life-giving reality of true discipleship. Jesus sets a radical standard to be His FOLLOWERS. In today’s sermon, we continue our three-part study of two passages of Jesus sending out His disciples to proclaim the Kingdom (Luke 9:1-11, 10:1-24) as we learn that FOLLOWERS go in His power. Both these passages follow the same rhythm: the sending (His power), the going (His provision), and the returning (His perspective).
