FOLLOWERS Go In His Power

What does it mean to actually follow Jesus even when the crowd is thinning out? We are studying Luke 9 & 10 to discover the life-giving reality of true discipleship. Jesus sets a radical standard to be His FOLLOWERS. In today’s sermon, we look at two passages of Jesus sending out His disciples to proclaim the Kingdom (Luke 9:1-11, 10:1-24) as we learn that FOLLOWERS go in His power. Both these passages follow the same rhythm: the sending (His power), the going (His provision), and the returning (His perspective). As FOLLOWERS, we go on mission in His power, His provision, and His perspective.

FOLLOWERS Bring What They Have

Running The Race of Faith

Welcome to Sports Camp Sunday!! Experience the energy of Keiki Ministry as we celebrate all that God did during our week of Sports Camp. Over 75 keiki were impacted by the Word of God. Our theme this year was Breakaway based on Hebrews 12:1-2 as the keiki learned to break away from the sin that trips us up. Pastor Sarah recaps the messages from the week and adds on one new message to complete the teaching on running the race of faith.

Is There Room For Growth?

Think about it: in the natural, the health of your physical heart determines the health of your whole body. The same is true for your spirit. We’re going to look at Jesus’ teachings in Luke chapters 7 and 8 as a sort of 'diagnostic' for our inner lives. Each Sunday, we’ll ask a different Heart Check question to help us gauge the pulse of our spiritual heart health. In today’s sermon, we'll look at Luke 8:26-39, as we ask ourselves the question: Is there room for growth? A healthy heart is a growing heart. We must make room for Jesus, especially when growth costs us our comfort.
