Beskrivelse

illFRAME is a Fort Collins-based band pushing their way into Colorado’s heavier scenes with a raw, tightly wound sound. The band flirts with chaos that’s combining hardcore urgency, alternative grit, and the occasional punk detour. It’s a project that doesn’t waste time on pleasantries. Only two years in, the band is still early in its run, but their debut shows a clear sense of intent to throw elbows at everything in their way.

episode DW Doucet cover

DW Doucet

DW  Doucet is a one man band that boasts a racing stripe kick drum, chains,  a railroad track anvil, an old rotary telephone mic, and an archtop  guitar that bellows a deep chord followed by howls, growls, falsettos,  and a voice that ranges from Andrew Bird to Tom Waits.  DW was  born in Canada and was raised in Los Angeles, CA. However,  DW considers  his spiritual home in Atlantic Canada where he spent all his summers as  a child and fell in love with the ocean and mountains of Cape Breton,  Novs Scotia. Recently, he has returned back to Fort Collins, CO to  develop his art form at what he considers one of the best music scenes  in the country. DW is in the works of completing his first full length  record “American Dust” in the spring of 2026.

episode Babaux and the Peace Makers cover

Babaux and the Peace Makers

Babaux and The Peacemakers have released their third album, Keep Both Hands on the Wheel, which has steered the band down a dynamic excursion across the breadth of the Roots-Rock spectrum. Led by singer/songwriter and resonator guitar player Cristian Basso (aka, Babaux), The Peacemakers are Eric Martinez on lead guitar, Mike Davidov on bass and Jake Herman on drums. Basso, whose history includes bass stints for an array of icons from Bo Diddley to Leo Nocentelli (The Meters) to Papa Mali, and has songwriting credits with no less than Eric Lindell (on his acclaimed Gulf Coast Highway album) drives the band’s signature Roots-Rock sound by providing a new collection of songs that possess both soulful roots expressions reminiscent of the vintage Laural Canyon sound and dynamic shifts of energy that speak to the strength of a finely tuned and deliberate rock edge.
