Tyler, a 34-year-old resident of Damariscotta, was last seen on Monday, May 5, as he departed from his home and ventured into the woods behind his property around 7:30 AM. Known for his outdoor skills and deep familiarity with the local terrain, Tyler's disappearance has raised alarms among his family and friends, who are deeply worried about his well-being.In response to Tyler's disappearance, the Damariscotta Police Department, along with Game Wardens, family members, and community volunteers, initiated a search effort on Tuesday afternoon. This extensive search operation includes the deployment of K-9 units from both the Maine Warden Service and the Maine State Police, highlighting the urgency and seriousness of the situation. At the time he went missing, Tyler was reportedly dressed in brown Carhartt pants, a light blue T-shirt, and a multicolored handkerchief around his neck, along with boots, which may help in identifying him during the search.Authorities are urging anyone who may have information about Tyler's whereabouts or who might have captured any relevant footage from security or game cameras in the vicinity to come forward.
