At Christmas they do because of the belling ringing Red Kettle campaign. But not usually in the summer months. That's why I decided to do this podcast. In our conversation we talk about the history of the Salvation Army in Newton and in the United States. He also gives us an overview of The Salvation Army Food Pantry and The Thrift Story. He also tells us with the summer warmer weather how The Salvation Army can help to keep folks cool and with utility bills on a limited basis.

And, one of the neat things about being The Morning Show Producer at WHO Radio is that every morning I get to hear about all the preperation going on at the fair when Morning Host Jeff Angelo talks with State Fair Marketing Director Mindy Williamson about preperations for the fair.
