On June 11, the St. Petersburg Museum of History welcomed Todd Wiseman, Jr. to talk about his film "A Land Remembered shooting now in Tampa Bay and Florida. The beloved book by this award-winning movie director drew a sold-out crowd on the first day tickets went on sale, and guests were treated to a multimedia presentation and insider glimpse on the making of this film.  Executive Director Rui Farias introduced Todd, and the museum's archives were used to help research the film's production. A Land Remembered is a best-selling historical fiction novel by Patrick D. Smith that chronicles three generations of the fictional MacIvey family in Florida, from their humble beginnings as Cracker pioneers in the 1850s to their rise as wealthy landowners, exploring themes of survival, family, and the changing landscape of Florida.
