The Travis Walton Abduction

On a dark night in November 1975, a seven-man logging crew was traveling the back roads of the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest in Arizona when they saw a glowing craft hovering over the trees. They drove closer to see it better, and when they did, one man jumped out to get even closer. As he approached, a blue-green beam of light fired from the craft, striking the man and throwing him to the ground. Convinced their friend was dead, the rest of the crew sped away, fleeing the scene. What followed was an exhaustive search operation that found no trace of the man, and a police investigation of the crew for the possible homicide of the missing logger. Then, five days later, the missing man called from a pay phone along a highway, disoriented and traumatized, and had no memory of the time he was gone. This week, we’re jumping into one of the most well-known cases in ufology. We’ll look at the night in question, the search and investigation, the man’s return, what memories he recovered through hypnosis, the skeptics who tried to tear him down, and finally the theories as to what really happened in those dark woods in the fall of 1975. The Philadelphia Experiment/The Montauk Project

In 1943, the US Navy conducted an experiment that some believe pushed the bounds of reality. According to legend, when they attempted to make a ship invisible, they accidentally teleported it away and back, leading to horrifying repercussions for the men aboard. Over 40 years later, a man named Preston Nichols began recovering repressed memories of a secret government project at an officially abandoned Cold War facility, working to amplify psychic abilities in hopes of unlocking mind control and time travel. It sounded far-fetched until more men came forward. This week, we’ll examine both of these events, how they may be connected, and whether or not to believe either of them actually took place. The Van Meter Visitor

It was 8 feet tall, bat-winged, with a beak and a glowing horn that could emit dazzling beams of light. Multiple witnesses fired upon the strange interloper, to seemingly no effect, save for an intense disarming odor that it seemed to use as a defense. With little recourse left, the residents of Van Meter organized and went on the offensive. The Cash Landrum UFO Incident

Tune in for our next exciting episode! In December of 1980, two women and a child drove along a rural highway in east Texas, when they saw a bright light. They thought it was a star until they rounded a bend and were face to face with a glowing diamond shaped craft. The craft put off extreme heat and after a few minutes, took off over the trees, followed by military type helicopters. Over the next few weeks the witnesses experienced symptoms of radiation exposure, such as blistered and burned skin, vomiting, muscle weakness and hair loss.
