Beskrivelse

Episode 97 of Mr. Robin’s Hood Podcast kicks off with co-host Mikey-on-the-Mic still warm from a recent detention—the result of a social experiment that started in the Walgreens parking lot and quickly moved into the nearby intersection that we will charitably describe as interpretive dance and leave at that. Mr. Robin (Robin Hohweiler) and Mikey (Mikel Mauree Robinson) do what they do best: witty banter, seemingly endless disclaimers, and persistent insistence for the record that documenting mischief is not the same as endorsing it. Then comes special guest Robert Ford—NOT Robben Ford, a mistake Mr. Robin made and will apparently never fully recover from—who happens to be the mayor of Gage, Oklahoma (Robert that is, we’re pretty certain Robben has never been to Gage). Robert is also a gigging musician, a Rotarian, a former corporate escapee, and a man with a lot of thoughts about keeping small towns from quietly disappearing. A good one.

Listeners will learn why protecting topsoil matters, how local partnerships and agencies work together, and simple ways to get involved—reach out to your local conservation district, support local programs, and stay informed.
