You may have noticed that your options for that experience are shrinking, as movie theaters close across the U.S. Our second stop will real the life backrooms – that’s a phrase for eerie, abandoned public spaces that’s popular online – of these shuttered cinemas. Then, we’ll learn about The Backrooms, a movie inspired by the phrase that actually bringing young people to the movies this summer. Finally, we’ll hear from an expert on eerie places and experiences about the psychology of fear, belief and more.
