episode Re-Release: Healing Through Hard Work: How Building My Work Ethic Changed My Life cover

Beskrivelse

I’m re releasing this episode a year later because the message feels more relevant than ever. In this episode, I talk about how developing a strong work ethic became a huge part of my healing journey. For years, I believed hard work was about proving myself through success through grades, promotions, and never slowing down. But over time, I realized real growth comes from working on what’s inside just as much as what’s outside. I open up about overcoming bullying, self doubt, burnout, and how sobriety helped me find more balance in my life. Learning to slow down, face my emotions, and heal the parts of me I used to ignore completely changed how I approach my goals and the way I live.  A year later, I still believe this: When you stop running from your pain and start growing through it, everything begins to change. This episode is about resilience, self awareness, and learning that healing is not separate from success. Sometimes it is the foundation of it. episode New: The Silent Pressure Men Carry with Prabhleen Aujla | Part 2 cover

New: The Silent Pressure Men Carry with Prabhleen Aujla | Part 2

Part 2 is now live. 🎙️ Really grateful to continue this conversation with Prabhleen Aujla on the Rooh Podcast. In this episode, we dive even deeper into the emotional struggles many men, especially South Asian men, carry silently. We talk about: • Why vulnerability is often mistaken for weakness • How emotional suppression affects our relationships, confidence, and health • What would change if more men felt emotionally safe • The connection between emotional health, success, and fulfillment • Creating healthier conversations for the next generation One thing I've come to believe is this:Healing isn't just about feeling better. It's about changing the way we show up for ourselves, our partners, our families, and the people around us. The conversations we avoid today often become the struggles we pass on tomorrow. Thank you again to Prabhleen Aujla and the Rooh Podcast for creating space for honest conversations that so many people are thinking about but few are having. If you listened to Part 1, I'd love for you to check out Part 2 and let me know what resonated with you most.

New: The Silent Pressure Men Carry with Prabhleen Aujla | Part 1

Really grateful to be a guest on the Rooh Podcast with Prabhleen Aujla for a conversation around men’s mental health, emotional suppression, healing, and the silent pressure so many men carry. We spoke about: • the “man up” conditioning many boys grow up with • why so many men struggle to open up • how unprocessed emotions impact relationships, health, and happiness • my own journey from burnout and emotional suppression to self-awareness and healing • practical ways men can begin having healthier conversations with themselves and others A big part of this conversation was also around South Asian men and the pressure many of us carry silently while trying to appear strong on the outside. One thing I’ve learned: Strength isn’t pretending everything is okay. Strength is having the courage to be honest about what you’re carrying. Appreciate Prabhleen Aujla and the Rooh Podcast for creating space for these conversations. Give Part 1 a listen 🎙️

episode Re-Release: The Conversations That Strengthen a Marriage cover

Re-Release: The Conversations That Strengthen a Marriage

Originally recorded 2 years ago, this conversation still feels incredibly relevant today. In this solo episode, I reflect on the importance of honest communication in marriage and relationships and not just talking, but truly understanding one another. We explore: • Why couples slowly disconnect • The impact of unspoken emotions and assumptions • How difficult conversations can actually strengthen a relationship • Practical ways to communicate with more honesty, clarity, and emotional awareness Listening back to this episode reminded me that while we grow and evolve, some conversations remain timeless. Whether your relationship is thriving, facing challenges, or simply in a season of growth, this episode offers grounded insights to help you build deeper connection and understanding with your partner. Sometimes the conversations we avoid most are the ones that can bring us closer together. Follow me on Instagram to connect: @sunnyccoaching

episode Re-Release: Mindful Men: Finding Strength in Stillness cover

Re-Release: Mindful Men: Finding Strength in Stillness

Re-releasing this episode 1.5 years later feels meaningful because so much of what I talked about here has become even more real in my own life. In a world that constantly tells men to stay busy, stay productive, and keep pushing forward, many of us never learn how to slow down and actually sit with ourselves. In this episode, I talk about the power of mindfulness, meditation, and learning to create space for stillness not as weakness, but as strength. We explore: * Why so many men struggle to slow down * How constant “go mode” disconnects us from ourselves * The importance of sitting with your thoughts instead of escaping them * How mindfulness can help regulate stress, emotions, and anxiety * Building inner peace, resilience, and emotional awareness Over the past year and a half, I’ve realized even more how healing it can be to disconnect from noise, be present, and give yourself permission to simply breathe and exist. Sometimes the strongest thing a man can do is slow down. 🎧 Tune in and reflect with me. Follow me on Instagram: @sunnyccoaching [https://www.instagram.com/sunnyccoaching/?utm_source=chatgpt.com]
