Beskrivelse

Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh: God’s “I AM” in Exodus and the Plagues of Egypt Lesson 4 in the “Names of God” series focuses on Ehyeh ("I AM"), drawing from Exodus 33:19 and Exodus 3:14 (Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh, “I am that I am”).  Pastor Ryan explains that God’s name is a covenant signature showing His self-sustaining, ever-present sufficiency, not limited by time, and able to fill the gaps created by human failure and bring people back into alignment with His will. Moses’ call after Israel’s 400 years of slavery is used to show God working behind the scenes, including Joseph’s role and Israel leaving Egypt with wealth. The burning bush is presented as a picture of Jesus containing God’s consuming fire, and Jesus’ “I AM” claims in John are linked to Ehyeh. The ten plagues are described as God dismantling Egypt’s gods (e.g., Nile, frogs, sun/darkness), culminating in Passover blood covering households from judgment. And the Lord said, “I will cause all my goodness to pass in front of you, and I will proclaim my name, the Lord, in your presence. ——— Join us for our Sunday services at 10 AM and 4 PM. Names of God (Ehyeh) Part 7

Jesus the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:1–6) Ps Ryan teaches from John 14:1–6 where Jesus says, “I am the way, the truth, and the life,” emphasizing that this is not merely doctrine but Jesus Himself as the fulfillment of Jewish categories: halakha (the way), emet (truth), and chayim (life). Ps. Ryan contrasts modern Christianity’s split between faith and daily life with a lived, relational walk with Christ, urging believers to stay close to the Shepherd rather than chase religious systems, rules, or special moments. He explains “progressive revelation,” arguing Scripture is God-breathed through imperfect people and that God’s revelation moves toward its perfect expression in Jesus, using examples like slavery and treatment of women. He stresses truth is a person known by relationship, and closes with Jesus’ mercy to the adulterous woman: “Neither do I condemn you…go and sin no more,” calling the church to welcome people safely without condemnation while exalting Jesus alone. ——— Join us for our Sunday services at 10 AM and 4 PM. Names of God (Ehyeh) Part 6

I am the Good Shepherd Pastor Ryan teaches that God provides fully, but believers must choose to desire Him (“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want,” Psalm 23:1). Using the “valley of the shadow of death” imagery, he says the shepherd doesn’t reroute the sheep; the daily habit of walking with the shepherd prepares them to pass through darkness with God’s presence (Psalm 23:4). He contrasts “I will fear no evil” with never feeling fear, calling believers to keep walking even afraid. He explains the rod (protection/discipline/inspection) and staff (guidance/alignment/comfort), then highlights God’s provision at the table, anointing oil, overflowing cup, and the truth that goodness and mercy follow those who keep walking (Psalm 23:5–6) ——— Join us for our Sunday services at 10 AM and 4 PM. Names of God (Ehyeh) Part 5

I Am the Good Shepherd: Psalm 23 and John 10. Ps. Ryan continues the “Names of God” series by connecting Exodus 3:14 (“I AM”) with Jesus’ declaration in John 10:11-16 that He is the Good Shepherd who lays down His life for the sheep, bringing both Israel and Gentiles into one flock. Using Psalm 23:1-4, it explains that “The Lord (Yahweh) is my shepherd” is God’s promise to provide, while “I shall not want” is the believer’s response to desire God above His gifts, rejecting a “vending machine” faith. Ps. Ryan emphasizes worship and commitment rather than church-hopping, and teaches that the Shepherd makes sheep rest, leads them to green pastures and still waters, and restores “cast” sheep through patient, protective care. Even in the “valley of the shadow of death,” believers can walk without fear because the Shepherd is with them. ——— Join us for our Sunday services at 10 AM and 4 PM. episode Abba Father (Ps. Imee Francisco) cover

Abba Father (Ps. Imee Francisco)

Abba Father: From Orphan Spirit to Adopted Sonship In this Father’s Day message by Ps. Imee Francisco titled “Abba Father, the cry that was always yours” explores the word “Abba” being mentioned three times in Scripture—Romans 8:15, Galatians 4:6, and Jesus’ prayer in Gethsemane (“Abba Father… not my will but yours”).  Ps. Imee teaches that crying “Abba” is not human effort but a gift given through the Holy Spirit because of Christ’s finished work, emphasizing God as a personal, good Father regardless of one’s earthly father experience. The sermon identifies “orphan spirit” mindsets—seeking love apart from God, comparison, internal strife, overperformance for approval, and confirmation bias from pain—and urges believers to replace them with their inheritance as adopted children, grounded in Scripture and the Spirit’s witness. It ends with a call to forgive, surrender wounds, and worship God as Abba. ------- Join us for our Sunday services at 10 AM and 4 PM. episode The Everlasting Father (Ps. Yen de Felipe) cover

The Everlasting Father (Ps. Yen de Felipe)

Jesus is our Everlasting Father.  Ps. Yen's sermon centers on Jesus as “Everlasting Father” from Isaiah 9:6, explaining it is not a Christmas sermon but a call to deeper understanding.  Using King Josiah’s story, we see how responding to God’s Word can break generational patterns: Josiah sought God despite a wicked family line, repented when the Book of the Law was found, and was guided by mentors. The church is urged to help address fatherlessness by mentoring and “keeping the flame” of faith. Ultimately, reforms are temporary, but Jesus—the Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace—changes hearts and answers deep questions of identity, being known, seen, and never abandoned. Key verse - Isaiah 9:6 (NIV) For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. ------- Join us for our Sunday services at 10 AM and 4 PM.
