On the Saturday, June 6th, 2026 edition of The Travel Guys… * In the Travel News, Hilton launches (yawn) another new hotel brand, Uber & Lyft drivers in one state have formed a union, and Hawaiian Airlines says goodbye to free meals in economy class. * Wallet Hub has named its best hotel loyalty program for 2026. We’ll share the name of the winner and talk a little about Hotel Frequent Guest programs. Is it just us, or does it feel like those programs are offering less and less in the way of actual awards and benefits? * Many of the current trends in travel are being driven by women – we’ll talk about a few; the Tony awards are tomorrow night and (remembering we are the travel AND entertainment guys), we’ll have a look from the stage on Broadway in New York City. * The history of those delicious chocolate chip cookies Doubletree Hotels give you at check-in heads up the Odds and Ends segment.
