Hometown Heroes - two surviving local veterans of D-Day honored
2026 of course is the nation's 250th anniversary of its founding and in conjunction the US Department of Justice and US Attorney's Offices - like the Western District of Virginia based in Roanoke - are also honoring Hometown Heroes.
