The Maastricht-based producer has been steadily carving out his lane with rhythm-heavy, no-nonsense techno, backed by support from Eli Brown, Sam Paganini, Carl Cox, Alan Fitzpatrick, Ramon Tapia and more. His 2023 ‘System / Black Mirror’ EP helped push things forward, with further outings on Say What, AnalyticTrail, Kneaded Pains and Unity Records keeping the pressure on. His latest move sees him reunite with Los Angeles-based TimeKube for their debut on Nicole Moudaber’s MOOD. Their ‘1001’ EP, released on 24th April 2026, is exactly where this sound belongs. ‘1001’ rolls with stripped-back drums, smoky synth work and a raw warehouse pulse, while ‘9009’ pushes darker, stacking percussion and rising synth tension into a proper peak-time weapon. That same energy runs through today’s mix. Melvin keeps it tight and functional, moving through cuts from K-H1, Frank Biazzi, Agent Orange, Drumsauw, KMYLE, Kr!z and Hollen, alongside his own ‘Trippy Journey’ and collaborations with Drumsauw and TimeKube.
