Lori Stauffer has worked for Scottsdale Fire Department in risk reduction for more than 20 years.  As the PIO for Community Relations, she manages all injury prevention programming for the department including safety classes, child passenger seat checks and fall prevention.  The Home Safe Home program addresses the many fall and fire risks for the older adults living in Scottsdale.  It is the hope to prevent incidents in the first place and reduce the risks for those who have already experienced devastating injuries or frequent falls.
