What does identity in Christ look like when your life doesn't fit the mold you expected it would? Join us as we chat with Cheryl Quimba, a mother of two, whose parenting journey has inspired her dedication to understanding neurodivergent parenting for the past seven years. Cheryl is the founder of What Helps, LLC, a resource dedicated to supporting those navigating Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA), OCD/Scrupulosity, and creating families of Felt- Safety. With a Bachelor of Science in Pastoral Counseling and certifications in PDA, she uses transformative insights to provide practical resources and guidance for families. Cheryl is a parent coach, author, and speaker who has shared her expertise at conferences, on Portland's KATU 2 Afternoon Live, and in various community settings. She has been married to her husband, BJ, for 21 years -the majority of which have been in full-time ministry! Together with their two dogs, they love living life as a twice adoptive, multi-cultural, unschooling, imperfect, Jesus centered family. What does it truly mean to know who you are in Christ? Join us for an inspiring conversation with missionary Lynsey Horton as she shares how embracing her identity in Jesus has shaped her calling, strengthened her faith, and sustained her through both the joys and challenges of ministry. In this episode, Lynsey shares how identity in Christ is a universal longing that she has witnessed in cultures around the world, and how those deepest longings are ultimately fulfilled in Christ alone. Whether you're serving in ministry, discerning God's calling for your life, or simply seeking a deeper understanding of your identity in Christ, this conversation will encourage you to rest in the truth that your value is not found in what you do, but in whose you are. S8, Ep 6: Free to Be Me

At some time or another we have all fallen into the habit of doubting our worth and second-guessing who we are and who God has created us to be. We may subconsciously shrink ourselves or downplay the unique person God made us to be in order to fit in. We may question the gifts He's given us or even wonder if He truly loves us the way His Word says He does. But Scripture reminds us of the unchanging truth of God's love and the freedom we find in Him to be who He created us to be. In today's episode, we'll dive into one of our favorite verses in the Bible, and be reminded just how much God cherish us. We hope you'll be encouraged and empowered as you discover that the person God created you to be, is exactly who He can use to bless others and grow His Kingdom.
